Services to make you smile

Choosing a home care provider is a big decision; ensuring you have the right people to look after a loved one when you can’t be around 24/7 can be difficult. We want to make that decision as simple as possible to give you peace of mind, so you know you’re making the right choice.

We’re different

Unlike many home care companies, we offer in-home care solutions for older people and respite care for adults with learning disabilities. Our care packages are tailored to suit your loved one’s every need; we don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach. We offer as minimum 45-minute appointments so the people we care for don’t feel rushed. And, no problem is too big or too small.

  • Personal care
  • Leisure activities
  • Trips to see friends and relatives
  • Post-operative support

Covid Safety

All our staff have now received their Covid vaccination to ensure the ongoing safety of our clients.

Working with our clients during these challenging times we know they want to stay at home where they feel safe and secure for as long as is humanly possible before considering residential care and it is our mission to make that happen wherever possible.

Our easily recognisable, trained and uniformed staff are referenced, enhanced DBS-checked, carry full Sambhana Care ID, and are tested weekly for Covid-19. In addition, we have the necessary Personal Protective Equipment and practice social distancing to ensure your safety and ensure peace of mind. We will continue to follow all the government guidance for those working in the health and social care sector to protect your safety in your home.

Our ethos

Sambhana Care was born out of a desire to offer a truly different solution to home care for older people and respite care for adults with learning disabilities. Our ethos is to provide fully tailored solutions that mean you or a loved one can feel confident they are being treated in a dignified way whether it is just a trip out to the shops or end of life care. We pride ourselves on our relationship with our clients and are often viewed as an extension of the family.
We are fully up to speed with all COVID protocols and ensure that you are kept safe and secure at all times. We test all our carers every week and have all the necessary PPE equipment and practice social distancing wherever possible.

Our Managing Director Tony Rana is a British born Sikh and his heritage is something he is very passionate about. Care for the immediate and wider family is one of the core beliefs of the Sikh community and this naturally translates into the service we offer at Sambhana Care. The name Sambhana means ‘to care’ in the Punjabi language and he felt it was important to embed that in the company name as a core belief and mission.

We have been fortunate in having the same carers to visit Mum on each occasion (twice daily). They are unfailingly cheerful, polite and prompt. I enjoy their visits as I am confident that Mum is 100% safe with our cares, and they treat her with the utmost respect and dignity. If they have any concerns about Mum, they raise them with me, which I find very helpful. The half-hour allows me to have some personal time to catch up with family and friend. Excellent service!

Wonderful, caring carers. Received excellent care from this company for my father while he was still with us. Highly recommend.

High-quality support provided with empathy and dignity for the client. Very helpful, supportive and reliable. By far the best such service provider we ever used. We need more like you in the care sector!

Sambhana Care has been providing care for me since August 2020. I am very happy with the care I am receiving. I have got to know the three carers really well; they are all very friendly and obliging; cooking my meals, ensuring I have taken my tablet, carrying out odd jobs I may require, and most importantly, providing me with company. I very much look forward to and enjoy our little chats. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sambhana Care.
