When did you join Sambhana Care?
I joined Sambhana Care on the 5th of May 2020.
Experience before joining Sambhana Care?
I previously worked for Braeburn Care and was the registered manager for the Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells areas. I have also worked for Carewatch as the registered manager of the Ashford and Maidstone areas.
How have you used your knowledge to help a client?
Knowing how difficult caring for someone can be, having a son with learning difficulties and a chromosome abnormality, I can relate to others as I have experienced the same feelings and emotions. I am very passionate about ensuring clients receive quality home care which I don’t think is universally available. I think this personal insight gives me a unique experience which, alongside my training in health and social care, enables me to really care for our clients and their families and I know I can tailor the provision we offer accordingly.
Outside of work, what are your interests?
I love being outdoors and in the fresh air so I often take time for walks with friends and family. I am also a real book worm and am never happier than curled up on the sofa with a good read. I have recently purchased a bike and have arranged a sponsored 300-mile ride throughout the month of September 2020 to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society and Cancer Research which is something I am very proud of and hope to continue this fundraising effort ongoing.
Covid Safety

All our staff have now received their Covid vaccination to ensure the ongoing safety of our clients.
Working with our clients during these challenging times we know they want to stay at home where they feel safe and secure for as long as is humanly possible before considering residential care and it is our mission to make that happen wherever possible.
Our easily recognisable, trained and uniformed staff are referenced, enhanced DBS-checked, carry full Sambhana Care ID, and are tested weekly for Covid-19. In addition, we have the necessary Personal Protective Equipment and practice social distancing to ensure your safety and ensure peace of mind. We will continue to follow all the government guidance for those working in the health and social care sector to protect your safety in your home.
